Jere Saranpaa was born in 2001 Seinajoki Finland. He began to play American football in 2010. At that time he played with U11 and U13 teams of Seinajoki Crocodiles, his hometown club.
In 2015 he played his first season with the U15 team of the Crocodiles and also played his first international game representing Finland against Sweden. Then in 2016 his Crocodiles team won the first Finnish Championship at U15 level. Jere has also represented Finland at U17 level.
In December 2016 Jere was selected to represent Crocodiles and Finland at U15 level in the Junior Super Bowl 60 event in Orlando, Florida.
In 2017 Jere played for Crocodiles' U17 team which also won the Finnish Championship. He also represented Finnish U19 team in the European Championship tournament. The tournament was played in Copenhagen, Denmark and Finland finished 3rd in the tournament. Check out the VIDEO section and HIGHLIGHTS 2017 from there.
As a 16-year-old Jere was selected to U19 Team Nordic. That team played against USA U19 team at the AT&T Stadium in Dallas, TX in January of 2018.
In 2018 Jere played U19 Finnish Championship league and begun his studies at Brook Hill School in Texas, USA. In Texas his team is Brook Hill Guard. He plays on the both sides of the ball. In offence his position center and in defence he plays either tackle or nose guard. Check out the VIDEO section.
In 2019 Jere begun his studies and keep on chasing his ambition at Brook Hill School in Texas, USA. He plays on the both sides of the ball again, but keep focus mainly in defense line. Check out the VIDEO section.
